I’ve been exactly where you are. But in 2019, I was ignited and everything changed.
From 2009 to 2019, I was doing everything: late nights, missed time with my family, hoping more money would fix the pressure. It didn’t. I felt stuck, exhausted, and unsure how to grow without giving my entire life to my business.
In 2019, everything changed. I invested $1,500 into a weekend seminar (this investment was a stretch; I was hardly making any money). That weekend, I discovered another graphic designer charging $10K for 10 hours of work, while I was charging $1K for over 50 hours of work. It was my wake-up call.
Her systems were simple, streamlined, and gave her freedom. Mine? Burning me out at 2 AM. I didn’t need to work more. I needed to work smarter.
This experience lit a fire in me, and I became IGNITED. I stopped saying, “I can't invest in me?” and started asking, “How can I invest in my growth?”
In 2021, I invested $10K into a coaching group, a sales program, and a systems coach. By the first quarter of 2022, my investments paid off, earning me $70K in just three months, compared to only $20K total the year before. That moment marked the beginning of my first 6-figure year in business.
