Business Strategist for Women Entrepreneurs

If you’ve ever felt buried under client demands, running your business on fumes, or secretly wondering if freedom is even possible for a small business or women entrepreneur like you, this episode will feel like a deep exhale.

In this premiere of The ICONIK CEO Podcast, I invite you into a new way of doing business, one where systems set you free instead of holding you back.

As a business strategist for women entrepreneurs and creative CEOs, I know firsthand what it feels like to build your business around your talent… only to realize it’s running you instead of the other way around.

This conversation is your permission slip to breathe again.

We’ll explore how systems, when built with intention, create more space for creativity, clarity, and confidence. You’ll learn how to identify what’s draining your energy, what deserves automation or delegation, and what freedom really looks like for you.

This episode isn’t just about structure; it’s about self-trustsovereignty, and sustainable success. It’s the beginning of a new era for women entrepreneurs who are ready to lead their business like a CEO, not just manage it like a task list.

In this episode, you’ll discover:

  • How to use systems to reclaim your time (and your peace)
  • The mindset shift from “doer” to “designer” of your business
  • Why structure is the ultimate act of self-care for creative entrepreneurs
  • How automation and delegation support—not replace—your creativity
  • Simple, actionable steps to begin simplifying your business today

If you’re ready to transform burnout into balance and chaos into clarity, this episode will help you see why structure is freedom’s best friend.

  • Tune in and start your journey to becoming an ICONIK CEO,a woman who builds with purpose, leads with peace, and scales with soul.

Speaker A:

Welcome with your host and business guru, Nakisha King.

Speaker A:

This podcast is the ultimate destination for women creative entrepreneurs who want to break free from burnout.

Speaker A:

If you are overwhelmed by client demands and feel like you're doing this all alone, you, my friend, are in the right place.

Speaker A:

Now, let's dive in for steps to take back your time and simplify your workflow.

Speaker B:

All right, Nikisha, take it away.

Speaker B:

Welcome to a new season, a new podcast.

Speaker B:

The same love, the same human being, the same evolving and resilient host.

Speaker B:

My name is Nikisha.

Speaker B:

However, what if I told you that Systems could actually give you more freedom not to take it away?

Speaker B:

I would love to welcome you to the new podcast, the Iconic CEO.

Speaker B:

This is where free spirits like you fall in love with systems.

Speaker B:

Now, you may have known us as leading her way.

Speaker B:

The human, the evolving, and the resilient human.

Speaker B:

We still are that, but we wanted to step into our new role as the iconic CEOs.

Speaker B:

It's always about evolution, and we're stepping into the next level of how we lead, how we create, and how we scale.

Speaker B:

This is what the Iconic CEO Podcast is about.

Speaker B:

Now, I know you're going, well, what does iconic CEO mean?

Speaker B:

It's not a meaning about titles, about seven figure plaques on the wall.

Speaker B:

We're not in that world.

Speaker B:

We're not doing any of that.

Speaker B:

But it's about being intentional, knowing your values, building a business that supports your peace, and leading from vision, not chaos.

Speaker B:

At Iconic CEO Podcasts, we really want to be able to tune in to who you're meant to be in this business, in your journey, no matter where your path leads you.

Speaker B:

So if you've ever said to yourself, I'm tired of doing everything myself, or I just want more time to create, I remember saying that again and again.

Speaker B:

Then you're exactly, exactly who this podcast was made for.

Speaker B:

This is who we're serving.

Speaker B:

We're serving our creative entrepreneurs, we're serving our women entrepreneurs, and we're serving our service providers.

Speaker B:

Because I believe free spirits and structure are not opposites.

Speaker B:

They are partners, they are collaborators, they are aligned.

Speaker B:

So what brought me into this world?

Speaker B:

I don't know if we're meeting for the first time, but.

Speaker B:

But I'm gonna share a little bit about who I am.

Speaker B:

I am, first, a spiritual being, and my name is Nikisha.

Speaker B:

That's how I identify on this beautiful Earth.

Speaker B:

I've been a Creative Entrepreneur for 16 years, and I run multiple businesses.

Speaker B:

I do real estate investment.

Speaker B:

I've done graphic design, and today I'm a coach who Specialize in sales and system, from design to consulting.

Speaker B:

And for a long time, I was the bottleneck of my company.

Speaker B:

I believed freedom meant doing it all, being everywhere, pivoting my value through effort, working hard, hustle, energy, you know, you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker B:

But when I started building my business, something shifted.

Speaker B:

I realized systems weren't there to control me.

Speaker B:

They were there to release me.

Speaker B:

They were there to support me.

Speaker B:

They were there to help me remove myself as the bottleneck in my company and scale in ways I didn't know was possible.

Speaker B:

When I learned to delegate, automate and create structure in my weeks, I didn't lose my creativity.

Speaker B:

Not at all.

Speaker B:

I got it back.

Speaker B:

I got it back.

Speaker B:

I had time to think again, to dream again, to create again.

Speaker B:

And that's what I want for you.

Speaker B:

I want every women entrepreneur, every creative entrepreneur, every service provider who thinks it's harder for you because you're not in the product world to experience exactly what I did.

Speaker B:

That is why I created the iconic CEO O Mastermind program.

Speaker B:

It's a place for you and me who are ready to lead differently.

Speaker B:

Not through hustle, energy, but through harmony and no, not through balance.

Speaker B:

Balance is 50, 50.

Speaker B:

We're not doing that here.

Speaker B:

What we're going to do is allow everything to play and to shine.

Speaker B:

And when it comes together, it's like salsa music.

Speaker B:

You know, all the instruments get together and you just move and you feel it in your body.

Speaker B:

That's what we're doing in Iconic CEO.

Speaker B:

Being iconic isn't about how much you can hold, but it's about how much you can let go.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker B:

All my perfectionists, all my type A's, I get you because I am one as well.

Speaker B:

But I'm learning how to let go.

Speaker B:

It's about gracefully allowing your systems to hold and support you.

Speaker B:

When we stop resisting structure and we start claiming, or should I say reclaiming our freedom, our business will shift.

Speaker B:

Remember, systems aren't spreadsheets.

Speaker B:

They're handholding experiences that you give to your clients.

Speaker B:

They're gentle reminders, your updates.

Speaker B:

They're clear steps.

Speaker B:

They are actions that make your client feel like you're always on top of everything.

Speaker B:

In other words, your clients feel like you have them on top of mind 24, 7.

Speaker B:

And let's be honest, your system has your client on top of mine.

Speaker B:

You get to create, you get to provide for your clients, so you get to scale in your bottom line.

Speaker B:

Systems for you are boundaries.

Speaker B:

They keep you creating, they are workflows.

Speaker B:

There are automations and there are habits that give you back your time.

Speaker B:

When you have your time, you can create in ways you didn't know was possible.

Speaker B:

You can breathe more.

Speaker B:

You can actually live a life that doesn't burn you out, but gives you breath.

Speaker B:

Can you imagine that right now where you are?

Speaker B:

Can you close your eyes and just know that you have breath rather than burn out?

Speaker B:

This is why the iconic CEO exists.

Speaker B:

This is why the program exists.

Speaker B:

We're done hustling.

Speaker B:

I'm done hustling.

Speaker B:

I've been done hustling for a while.

Speaker B:

I don't hustle.

Speaker B:

I show up and I create opportunities for the people I serve in ways I didn't know was possible.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker B:

So if you've been running on chaos and caffeine, maybe this is the season or the upcoming year where your business isn't about doing more.

Speaker B:

It's about designing a better experience for the people you serve and for yourself.

Speaker B:

So let's talk about how I will inspire you on the iconic CEO podcast.

Speaker B:

I'm going to inspire you with my friends who's going to join me to take actionable steps and in building your business through systems.

Speaker B:

Here we're going to talk about ways to start stepping into your iconic CEO energy.

Speaker B:

Not the hustle energy, but your iconic CEO energy right now.

Speaker B:

So let's talk about what that looks like.

Speaker B:

First and foremost, I'm going to give you a couple of tips that I want you to start.

Speaker B:

Let's start simple.

Speaker B:

Start tracking what gives you energy and what takes energy away.

Speaker B:

Like one of the people I truly enjoy, Tony Robbins, he says where you focus is where energy flows.

Speaker B:

And that's what we do.

Speaker B:

I might have it reversed, but you'll let me know in the comments.

Speaker B:

So we want to start tracking where your energy goes.

Speaker B:

Notice the task that drains you versus the task that lights you up.

Speaker B:

This awareness is your first system.

Speaker B:

Whatever drains you, you need to take note of it.

Speaker B:

This is what you need to work on to systemize so we can offload it.

Speaker B:

Sounds easy, right?

Speaker B:

Need help doing it?

Speaker B:

Need to learn how?

Speaker B:

Definitely.

Speaker B:

Check out my website.

Speaker B:

2.

Speaker B:

Create one repeatable process.

Speaker B:

It could be anything in this week.

Speaker B:

And if you feel like you're overwhelmed with work, you have another week to start this.

Speaker B:

So what we want to focus on is like onboarding a client or posting content for visibility.

Speaker B:

You can write the steps down or better yet, get loom.

Speaker B:

I have the link in the show notes as well.

Speaker B:

Record yourself doing the work.

Speaker B:

This becomes a process in sop.

Speaker B:

It also creates the words for you so you can Easily copy and paste it.

Speaker B:

This is how easy it is today.

Speaker B:

Number three, decide what freedom means to you.

Speaker B:

It's not the same for everyone.

Speaker B:

It's not the same time, it's not the same piece.

Speaker B:

Get clear on what you want your systems to create for you.

Speaker B:

So as we begin this new chapter of the Iconic CEO Podcast, remember, this podcast isn't just about business.

Speaker B:

It's about becoming the version of you who leads with grace, who leads with clarity and systems that sets you free, systems that allow you to breathe, systems that remind your clients they're always top of mind, even when you're not behind it, doing all of the things that is what this podcast will be about.

Speaker B:

Each week I will be joined by an incredible women CEOs, incredible creatives who are building empires and systems that serve them, not the other way around.

Speaker B:

Some of those weeks it will be me speaking about the experience and the things I've done in order to be where I am today.

Speaker B:

Some of our creative entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs will be in the middle of their journey and they'll be willing to share why are they in the middle and why they're not before and why they're not where they are and where they want to be.

Speaker B:

Some will be scaling the seven figures and eight figures, but all will be walking the path of an iconic CEO.

Speaker B:

And guess what?

Speaker B:

If you're listening right now, you're thinking, that's me.

Speaker B:

I'm an iconic CEO.

Speaker B:

I am learning my systems.

Speaker B:

I'm on a journey.

Speaker B:

I'm on a path.
